About Your Appointment
All appointments take place at our professional offices in the Financial Building in downtown Edmonton. The length of time required for any given mediation session may vary but appointments are usually booked in two hour blocks. In some cases, the mediator may speak to the parties separately prior to commencing the joint mediation.
The number of sessions that will be required to reach a resolution depends on a number of variables:
- How many issues are there to be resolved?
- What more information needs to be gathered to make an informed decision?
- Are all of the parties ready to move forward and find a resolution?
People generally underestimate how effectively a skilled mediator can move them through the process and address their needs.
